Default DC race header...

I just bought my 08 si about a month ago and im wanting to do a few small mods to start out. I was looking at a dcrh and I was wondering how hard the install is considering the k series is mounted backwards from other honda motors. I was also wondering how quiet it would sound at idle with the stock exhaust (e cutout will be installed aswell). Any help would be great.

Exhaust takes on a slightly "throatier" sound due to the increased flow, but all in all the audible difference is somewhat small. Install should be pretty straight forward....just make sure you let the stock header cool down first before touching it.

I know how to put the header on, but when I installed a header on my rx7 it was such a bitch because it was very hard to get to the bolts. Thanks for the help!

the dcrh is a pain in the *** to get on if you dont have a lift.
the sound difference is at 4k. where it starts to take a hollow, but crisp sound.
you will also notice on cold starts its louder than stock. i have a video of what a dcrh sounds like. near the end is where you really want to watch cuz thats where i did a straight line acceleration. at 2:18 is where you want to watch.
