ok i got the motor in today and went to program the ecm that i bought off ebay. the guy didnt give me a vin with ecm i bought. is there anyway to program the immobilizer in the new ecm with out having my old ecm. im really stuck please help..

 

I am just cruising the forum right now but I think you have to go to the dealer for the security settings???

 

well honda told me they wouldnt touch my cars ecm or even the car beacuse it has been altered. i have changed it to a 5 speed. the ecm that was in it fo rthe automatic is gone and no where to be found i ordered one of ebay but the nim rod doesent have the vin the the ecm came from. so untill i get the vin or some1 to get passed the vin part the immobilizer will not let me do n e thing. i have the ecm pcm code from honda for my car but the vin dont match the vin on the new mt ecm...
