Default Hot to add HP or rwad DYNO ??? D16a6/z6 all motor.

ok i dynoed my D16a6/z6 all motor and at the dyno jet it came up as

145.8 WHP
137.7 TQ
at 9,100 RPM

,QUESTION, thats to the wheels how much do u ussually add to find out what the motor it self is making ?? add 10? 15? or 20 ?

and how does the sea leve effect the numbers ? if someone can explain this to me ? thanks

what im saying is i take a stock d16z6 brand new and dyno i get 109WHP to the wheeels, but the motor is making what 128HP, so its like 20 more is 20HP what i should add to my WHP to sc what engine is making ?

i know the high up u are the harder it is for your engine to breath, the air gets thinner, so in return if u will make less hp on the same set up as u did say 1000 ft lower, correct me if im wrong guys, and i dont think theres a set number u can add to ur whp to find ur crank hp

a ood rule of thumb is 15% driveline loss. so add 15% and you should be close to the motors output

Yea I was gonna say 10%. And about altitude the air has a density of about 14psi at sea level. As your altitude rises air's density falls at a linear rate.

Those are pretty good numbers for your D, but remember that dynos are a tuning tool. The numbers aren't absolute and will change depending on the dyno used and the correction factor. DynoJets read the highest of all dynos...the real power will show through in your track times. If you really want more help with your setup, check out the All Motor forum...
