Icon6 b17a1 swap no pressure

I need help people, I have a 93 DA with a dead b18. so what I did I placed my b17a1 motor in it when I finished putting the motor I used the b18 wiring harness which has no vtec solenid sensor connection. Now what happened is the car crank and I had a test drive it ran good but it died on me and it won't crank no more and I just put some gas in it. So as I was checking on it there was no pressure to pump gas at all. I was thinking if it is my fuel pump relay or fuel pump or something... is this something about that vtec solenoid connection? what you guys think that I should do?

-when I try to start it it cranks but it just won't start.

I think you should buy yourself a voltmeter or a magic 8 ball. We can't tell you what's wrong with it, we are not sidekicks. You have to find out if there is power at the pump, if not you have to trace it and see where it's cut off.

yep yep.

See if you got power at the fuel pump plug and if not, its probably the main relay. If you do have voltage, its probably the fuel pump.. If your not getting fuel press. all of a sudden then you've only got a certain number of things that it could be.

And no, vtec solenoid not being hooked up would not cause it not to start. Look into buying a p61 ECU and a obd1 vtec harness though for when your done sorting the fuel issue out.

well no need to find spark yet, you might not have a problem with it

it is possible to have water in the line and it froze, get it inside

also, jsut cuz you hear the relay clicking doesnt mean the fuel pump is ok...

these are all just ideas

not much to really explain, water could have gotten in the line and froze due to the weather (its cold over here i dunno about you) if it is by you, push it in the garage and let it warm up and diagnose then
