okay im new here please dont get mad at me i did search and did not find the answers im looking for. im putting a 98+ u.s integra front end on my 92civic hatch ive got all the parts and was wondering who has done it? and if they could send me pics of where abouts to cut the fenders and does the radiator core support fit right where the civic one was or is there a way to put it in and i noticed when i test fitted the integra hood it hits the plastic cowl by the windshield wipers do i need to get a tegi windshield wiper cowl. do i need an integra radiator and fans and condencer and all that junk if some one could send pics of their step by step swap i just want to do it once the right way and i know people say it looks like crap but i love it. so who has done it please reply help lolz thanks

This isn't the type of modification that is smiled upon on this site.
I can see their points, but I won't insult you for it. My not liking it won't change anything.
I know the basics of front end conversions (swapping core supports, cutting fenders), as you mentioned, but I really don't know any of the specifics. I don't know if it's something common enough that there's really a science to it. I think it's more like you cut it where ever it looks right.
Your best bet is to look on other sites. Honestly, sites which are considered "ricey" will be your best bet. Beyond that, I'm not really sure which direction to point you in.
a couple years back, there were a few guys who did this and got some magazine features, not only with the US spec 3rd gen teg, but the JDM front end as well. i also know a few race cars did it. i don't remember who, or exactly when, unfortunately, so i can't help you. but...there should be some info somewhere on the web. the archives of this forum suck now, so i would not try to dig around on h-t unless you are feeling very adventurous.
EDIT: it was bugging me, so i searched in the superstreet archives and found the one i was thinking of - http://www.superstreetonline.com/fea...car/index.html
http://www.superstreetonline.com/fea...vic/index.html
unfort it looks like he just did the headlights; i forget and i'm not gonna read the article, lol.
there is another one i remember, but it's from 98 or 99, so give me a little bit....
EDIT v.2: can't find it. if i recall, it was red with yellow somehow. makes me think it was a road race or drag car; i can't remember, but it was us spec front end.
there was a blue one in modified mag a little while back, but it had the jdm spec front end, i think this is it

ill just figure it out for my self i tried to start a help me thread but turned into an opinion thread lolz.... i already know people hate this swap just tryn to do something different than being on the jdm tight yo bandwagon. and its not like im putting a big double stack wing and a wild weird body kit with a plastic add on hood scoop with green rims and a orange paint job and ready for lift off. lolz..... just putting a oem 98 up tegi front with a nice drop it looks clean and nice but thanks anyways this site is not for me i guess. peace. keep doin what you do

for instance, i posted in GDD yesterday asking what do most people have in their parts cleaner tub. i got a bunch of bullshit answers, as usual in GDD, but among them, i got some legit responses from people trying to help. and i only responded to people who were trying to help. the ones that were trying to be cute, i just ignore. they go away.
The real question is who is doing the bodywork? Depending on your budget, your best recommendation is have everything done by a bodyshop. They will do all the measurements, welding & aligning.
Fellas realize this is his car. Now I'm not supporting this conversion but if he feels like doing a complete conversion off a totally different car, then let him do what he pleases. We all have our opinions & at the end he might still go through it. Just know that value of the vehicle does not change just because you have an integra front end.
Just my 2 cents, I would suggest you sell all the integra parts & do a jdm eg front. Remember "Quality" not Originality. Last thing you need is attracting attention to the wrong people.
