Default why wont the cl back seats fit the accord

im getting black leather seats from the acura cl to put into my 95 accord, now i have to worry about the back seats,so i was wondering why the cl back seats wont fit in the accord, and whats modifications would i have to make so it will fit,if there is any to make at all, what could i do as an alternative cause i dont want to have mismatched seats.

it won't fit because its shaped differently. just a lil bit, but enough that it won't fit correctly. there's a very noticable gap and it's like taking the accord coupe rear seat and fitting it in the sedan. if u did a cl interior into a accord coup interior swap that would work out, but not for a sedan. too bad ur getting black interior cuz i have a tan leather interior and it's easier to get the darker tan from then 96-97 accord sedan rear seat to match my acura cl front seats. good luck with ur mod.

My entire back seat in my coupe is from a CL, it fit perfect because I don't have the side bolsters on my seat like you do in your sedan, the only thing I did was take off the latch off the stock seats before I scrapped them and then attached them to the CL seats.

You may have to borrow the interior trim panels from the CL as well, but look at it closely before you go any furthur.
Now you may have a better idea why I recommended what I did.

you could basically do the intire interior. im not 100% positive, but pretty sure. most of the cabin in the accord coupe is identical to the acura cl. including headliner, dash, seats, probably panels. all cl's were electric. if u were to make them power up in ur car, you'd have to wire up a harness from underneath the seats. not sure how you'd do that cuz i dunno how the non-power accords are wired up inside. good luck bro.

If you car is a coupe then every piece from the interior of a CL will fit. I've used all sorts of parts from a CL while constructing my interior. Almost flawlessly.

The only differences between the two.

Top of the front door panels (the positioning of the locks/handles are different)
The rear seatbelts (accords mount to the pillar, CL mounts near where the speaker grills are)

The CL also doesn't have the latches on the back of it like the Accord seat does so it can fold down.
