it was pitch dark dude... check the exposure times...

I think the cropping and the sharpness of your photos has some potential. I can't even tell what your camera lens is focused on in the third picture, to be honest with you. Cranking down your ISO will definitely do you well.

the autofocus on the 20D sucks *** at night. I could hardly see anything through the lens and had to manual focus all of those shots. Hoping to upgrade to a 40D and get some flashes soon. thanks for the criticism.

I did. And it appears that you didn't really go longer than a few seconds. I believe your 20D can actually take an exposure up to 30 seconds, or bulb, in which case you would not need to increase the ISO. Nice try.
