Default Soldering for hondata...

Has anyone done this before? If is very difficult, should I just pay someone to do it? Is there anywhere on the Hondata website where I can find more info on this? (I've looked and couln't find anything.) Thanks

Trey

I was wondering the same thing, i was told to go to radio shack, and see if someone there can do it. I am thinking about doing mine myself, but if i chicken out im just gonna send mine directly to hondata.

if you want to solder it yourself, i recommend you get a desoldering iron instead of using soder wick.

If you pay shipping, I'll do it for 40$. (Using Industrial quality tools).

If you don't have a good desoldering station and fine solder tools, I recommend you pay the $50 for someone to do it. That is what I charge and I guarantee you won't be able to tell the work I do on it from the factory work. I go as far as recoating the new solder joints so they don't oxidize and corrode. I've seen some sloppy work before and its usually due to lack of tools or expertise.

Damn... y'all let me know what it is you need saudering and I'll hoook y'all up with a good price on the work. I have been saudering and desaudering fgr over 7 years now. I've done it so much that I even do contract work building circuit boards for my job and other people. Hit me up if y'all really need saudering and desaudering done on your equipment. Lata.

I did it myself. It's really not that complicated. Just take your time and be sure to use a low power solder iron. As stated, if your not comfortable, then pay someone.

Saudering and desaudering?
After 7 years of experience you think you'd know how to spell it..."Soldering and desoldering"

Hey 93 LSivic... 4g4me is my bud, that was an array of inside jokes, so I can kinda understand why you thought he was a dork, because... he is....no, just joking.
