Default CTR/ITR motor cost?

how much do you guys think a CTR motor runs for? $4ks? cuz i really want to get one, but dont know what a good price is really. any input is greatly appreciated. ps: it would go into a 96-2000 coupe. also, would anyone suggest any other motors instead. i would also like to turbo/supercharge it at some point later on. thanks.

dont waste the money
buy a gsr swap and upgrade the cams (or start saving for the turbo)

I paid $3500 just for a B16B engine. I already had a USDM ITR trans so I didn't need that. If you are going to go turbo save your money and buy a GSR swap. You can build up the GSR for turbo and still have a lot more money in your pocket in the end than going itr or ctr. BTW the CTR runs great for just a 1.6L. The ITR/CTR can be ran with a turbo stock but you have to run an external engine management and tune it correctly due to the high compression ration. I saw an entirely stock B18C specR with JRSC @7psi and water injection the other day. Guy said it did 261HP @ the wheels last time @ the dyno! Not to bad. He said engine tuning is critical to run FI on those high cr engines. Good luck....
