Anyone ever tried doing anything (other than a new bumper) to smooth out/make the license plate space cleaner on the JDM front? I like the JDM front, but it would be nice to smooth out/make that license plate area less noticeable. Anyone filled the holes?

couldn't a body shop just fill it in for you?

 

theres nothing u can do, except go nuts with bondo, in which case it will look like ****. after two weeks i have finally learned to just live with it.

 

yes, you cant weld on it...its plastic . what you can do is get the license plate plugs for it

buy the mugen or CWEST bumpers. they look sweet and they dont have plate indentions

 

"(other than a new bumper)" ... really not lookin to replace the bumper. Want a stock look, but without the holes.

 

There are some body shops that work with the urethane bumpers. They will cut it out and fill it smooth.

 

Anyone have a pic of someone who has done it?

 

I don't have any pictures, but I have seen some tegs with JDM front and the front plate holes filled in. It looks clean, but not worth the extra money.
