ok because the clutch and the way this car changes gears feels incredibly different compared to the last two cars Ive owned: 96 VW Golf and a 01 Ford Focus. Both of those vehicles had clutches that felt similar to each other. the way the shift lever felt when putting the car into gear also was very similar between the cars. on my honda the clutch feels...less precise. when putting the car into gear it requires more force on the Accord. there is no audible click or grind when putting it in gear, but an amount of force is required to put the car correctly into gear. the same cannot be said for the two previous cars ive owned. also the pedal its self feels different... something wrong with the car or is this just one of the vast differences between a Japanese import vs a European/Domestic vehicle?

Without the advantage of enjoying the same comparison, I have no way (as would anyone else I would guess) to make a subjective observation.
It is, what it is.
If the clutch was failing to properly release (drag), then the shift effort would become problamatic.
Having the incorrect fluid in the Transmission can be problamatic (and cause shift problems)
An aftermarket Clutch set can increase clutch effort also.
Other than that.......
