Default What should i use to clean my clocks plastic face cover?

It's smeared looking with blurry spots all over it, tried to clean it with alcohol but no luck at all... Anyone kno what i could do to perhaps make it look new again..?? I just picked it up for $5 at junkyard, so hopefully I can turn it into not such an eye sore lol...

it looks like condensation on the inside of the clock to me but if its on the exterior, just get a high grit sandpaper, a old t shirt, cloth, or rag and some rubbing compound.

sand it down gently, then apply some rubbing compound and use some elbow grease. that will work if its on the exterior of the clock. if not your gonna need a new one

OP, try out Meguiars Plastx first before you start sanding anything. The Plastx did awesome on my clouded headlights. I didn't even have to sand. They also polished and took away scratches from my window visors.

Even if it doesn't work you can use what you have to clean your headlights, taillights and any other plastic you have. Like gauge cluster cover etc.

can i get that **** at autozone..?? sounds like a pretty high % of u guys say plastix is the way to go... u kno when u spray black magic on ur tires, than go for a ride and it leaves that smeary residue on ur fender and ****, than u gotta wipe it off..?? thats what it looks like, only on the lense cover of the clock, its like a buncha small circles like someone sprayed cleaner on there and never wiped it off...
