This is on my type r. It is on the left side of the manifold, it has a hose coming out of it with a plastic fitting on it and i am not sure where it goes or what does.

alright so i took the piece out and it doesnt seem to be a valve at all. it is more like a 2 piece fitting to go from the breather box to the im(see pic). I bought the #8 (in diagram) today but i dont think thats what i need. Or do I?

the valve cover breather is what is going to the intake right now. i am pretty sure that is the only hose that connects to the intake arm.

no there was two pcv valves connected to the itr intake the one went on the bottom you don't have that stock itr intake I'm guessing ? well that's what it is you can plug it if you want or stick a breather filter on it ...
