i seen a write up. some one had a d16a6 block, with d16a1 "dohc zc" rods, suzuki viatara pistons, a d16z6 head with stage 2 turbo cam, it was turboed using a full greddy kit, and using a really good tune and he says he was makin 375whp, with that se yp is it achievable
not trying to be a dick, but who cares? are you gonna go and source all of those things and try this? i guess to answer your question with the right amount of money, just about anything's possible. if you're wanting to know if 375 whp is achievable on a single cam d series, then the answer is yes. with a built head, sleeved block, boost, and tuning it is possible.
Well...the CR would be around 8.3:1. Thats on the low side, but match it with a large turbo and strong block, and high HP should be there.
...this setup would be horrid for a DD
Wait....the guy had a Greddy Kit? A 15G plus that low of a compression, no way.

no the vitara piston comes from the Suzuki grand vitara "suv". they are cheap, affordable, and come in 75, 75.5, 76 mm bores. they can handle in upwards of 25lbs of boost. match these up with eagle rods, tt rods, or the custom length rods from fj distributors which make the vitara pistons sit a deck height, and you have a proven combo. getting your block sleeved would be idea but not necessary.
