Default jack stand placement

Hi I jacked my car up using a scissor jack at the lift point recommend by the service manual. Though I don't know where the jack stand can go?

Need to access the mounting nut to finally release the alternator to below.

no dont do that.
in the front middle there is a small arrow on the front subframe and a "raised" notch. place the jack there when lifting the car.

the original poster is using a scissor jack...he can't put it there...

imo, he needs to buy a hydraulic jack if he wants to use jackstands on the car

You can put the jack stand under the long member under the car if you are using the scissor jack at the lift point just behind the mudflap. I didn't take picture of that exactly when I changed my brakes a few months ago. This is the closest picture I have showing the jack and jack stand.
