i was re doing all the suspension on my hatch when i came to the front drivers side when i went to connect the hub back up to the ball joint the axle wouldnt move up like it was jammed i investigated and saw that the axle has dislocated under the dust boot is this normal/ repairable...with out buying a new axle?

 

just buy a new axle there like 50 bucks or u can take it apart and see whats wrong

 

cv joint may have come disconnected from the axle. joint slips in and is surrounded by 3 bearings. remove the boot and reinstall the joint on the axle. make sure all the bearings are in the correct place. refill boot with grease.

 

ok greatcuz i juzt maxed out my credit card with parts and cant get an axle right now but ok ill rip er out and just put it back in great thanx
