Head Porters Chime In. Searching For The Company.
I recently acquired a sleeved block from a friend of mine. He bought a 98 Type R and it had a retarded turbo kit on it with a smoking stock motor or so he thought. T
I tear into it, find out it was sleeved and the head had been ported. The ITR manifold was also opened up. The throttle body was also worked some and matched to be portmatched to the manifold.
I'd like to know who ported the head because they can lead me to the person who sleeved the block.
My friend has no idea who did the work, he didn't even know it was sleeved or anything.
The car came from Texas(where it was stolen) and then to Maryland then to Southern Va.
Here is the marking on the head.

I believe the process of how they did the head is called extrude honing? The intake manifold has been completely ran through but it hasn't been cut open.
Thank you for your time and I apologize for the long post..

Only markings on the head is the stamping I posted above.
Block has nothing on it.
*edit* I don't have any pictures on my Photobucket.**

I dont know who it is but to come at it from a different angle... I can tell you its not Port Flow to elimate one from your list of companies who stamp their heads after porting.
Port Flow stamps a serial number and their name on heads as of a couple years ago I believe.

It does have a serial number under the stamping but I don't have the head right next to me to post it.
Thanks for the help.
For those wondering, there is nothing wrong with the head, I'd just like to know who did it for those who ask me. The head is currently at home but I'll snap pictures before I take it to the machine shop to get flow-benched.
