Noisy Wiper

The wipers on my 91 Hatch make a loud noise while wiping across the windshield as if it's wiping across a dry windshield. Any clues on getting rid of this noise?

Maybe new wipers,
not just the blade refill type, the whole set

I agree, go with the new Rain X wiper blades that have the single rubber with no supports. They are the most expensive blades Rain X makes. I use them on my 16v.
