Rim and tire size fitment for 97 Hx
Hello everyone,
I recently purchased some 17'' rims, 100x4 bolt pattern for my 97 civic, I am wondering what profile tire size to go with, I know it is recommended a 205/40/17, but I was wondering if I would be able to go with a 205/45/17 instead. I thought the ride would be a little less bumpy. Will I have any rubbing issues with the 45 profile tire? In addition, if I were to drop my civic would I have any rubbing issues? Any advice or input is welcome. Thanks for your help guys!
