Default My fully built GSR TURBO setup. a little preview.

sup, i am putting together a little gsr turbo on the side for a little project. I have a b18c1 stock sleeve block with a gsr head. As far as the mods i will put a list with my estimated guest of what im looking to make.

B18c1 Stock sleeve short block
B18c1 resurfaced head
Ferra valves
Ferra retainers
Skunk2 Stage 2 camshafts
AEM Adjustable cam gears
Wiesco 9:1 comp pistons ( with rings )
Eagle rods
Cosmetic Head gasket
ARP Head studs
GSR Crankshaft micro poslished and balanced
ACT 4 puck clutch kit with 8lb flywheel
Turbonetics GTK450 Turbocharger
Treadstone Turbo manifold
Custom 3" downpipe
Tial 38mm external wastegate
HKS SSQV Bov
Treadstone Intercooler 3" thick
Intercooler piping
3" exhaust
and a billion clamps lol

Trying to make 430whp in a EF hatch

I would stay away from the LOG manifolds. Not to say they won't make the power your looking for but they are pretty shitty to say the least. A ramhorn or miniram would suit you best IMO. If you were looking to make 300-350 then sure get a log but anything above that I wouldn't recommend it, not at all. Also, you don't need S2S2 cams, GSR or Type R's will be more than enough. Save the money on the cams and buy a better manifold, thats your best bet.

agreed, ramhorn, topmount, or even something custom. it would be way more efficient and gain a lot more power with a different manifold.

and again i see all these people building motors, i know stock motors pushing more than that goal, but yes 430 should deff be an easy goal.

Here's the tech...

Why would you buy Ferrera valves and retainers and not upgrade the valve springs? Just wondering why you'd "rebuild" a head and use your OEM springs. Any benefit in this?

I would also just keep your head the way it is and put the money somewhere else.

Stronger springs mabye?... Stockers on w/ that valvetrain... just get some BC springs, they are cheap!

Recommend a better mani for the 4+ mark.
