I am going for the stealth mode. I went from stock wheels painted flat to stock wheels painted Gloss Black. i like the gloss better.

Hard to tell but how long did it take you?

 

2 hours

 

What paint did you use?

Rguy, who will be performing this mod next week.

 

What steps?

 

clean, sand, paint x 4 and then clear coat x 2.
they were flat black before so i didn't have to load on the paint.

 

just used gloss bbq paint from ace hardware.

 

this could be a JDM KITT if it had the sweeping LEDs across the front

I would do that if I had an extra set of ITR wheels myself. I have a set of Millenia wheels I painted semi-gloss black. I prefer them for racing since they're a bit lighter. Acceleration is definately improved.
