I'm bikeless!
It's a funny feeling, really. Bike was taken and money is just sitting there on my desk. Had to make room for my Ninja 250 race bike, anyways.
Who else knows the feeling?

it's always a very empty feeling... specially for people like us where motorcycling has been really important part of our lives. GL with that 250 business, it sounds like a really fun time

i had three bikes at the time and put them all on craigslist on a tue. morning. tue night someone bought the f4i, and wed night someone bought the vfr and bandit. so the garage was empty and i made it till saturday and picked up my 07 600rr,lol. i couldnt last a week without a bike.
oh yes! i felt this hardcore after I sold my beloved 748 Ducati. Even tho I got a good deal on it, I still couldn't believe I had actually sold it. That weekend i took the money and bought a 00' gsxr 750...which was kinda cool....140whp from a built yoshimura race motor, but had a little problems here and there so I sold it. I then bought what I have now, a 01' RSV Mille, and have never looked back since. This little beast makes 140whp in a twin! (all MES internals and tuned) The guy I sold the 748 to and I still talk so that's cool. We even went riding with him and a few other guys this season. Within the first 20 min. after leaving my 748 in the dust (like real bad) I told my buddy on his r6 "That's why I sold that thing." Great looks and handling, but the lack of power (getting smoked by 600s) left me having to beat on the motor to keep up, and ultimately much less fun to ride.
I ride 7 days a week. I had to go to Pittsburgh for 6 weeks a couple months ago. Everywhere I looked it seemed like God was rubbing bikes in my face. I so badly wanted to get home and ride. First thing I did when I got home was ride, I saw my gf a couple days later, haha.

The best response from my for-sale ads was on the L.A. Craigslist. Putting it on forums yielded some potential buyers, but CL worked the best

The economy sucks and people are looking for deals, so don't expect to get a ton for your friend's '03.

the economy is so bad that people are low balling like crazy. i had a guy offer me 5k for my 07 600rr thats mint with a decent amount of goodies. so i decided to keep it,lol.
when i sold my f4i it was pretty sad. so it rolling off on a trailer and it was just like... dammit.
then i saw that red and silver one with the gold wheels in virginia for sale here a while back, and literally almost ran to the bank for a loan

After I sold my first bike (98 R1) I went to the dealership and picked up another bike (05 R1) the same day. I haven't seen my old bike since I moved out of Stockton, Ca (4 months ago), than one day I came to visit and I noticed this slick looking bike, turned out to be my first. I kinda forgot how clean she looked until I saw her again.
...and now I'm Bikeful. I bought a repo'd 2007 Ninja 250 w/2500 miles on it for $850. It's missing a couple things (front fairing, gauges, one muffler lol) but it's dirt cheap. Anyone have experience with Veypor or other aftermarket guages? It'll be mainly a track beast but to keep the Po' at bay I'll need some gauges.
