is it neccesary to take apart the v-tec or no because after i did the head gasket my lsvtec hasnt been the same at all and in the repair manual it said nothing about doing this unless you were rebuilding the head itself

 

WHAT? take apart the vtec you mean remove the solenoid it may be clogged with some sort of debris but if vtec is working its working it wont hit harder or softer it is controlled by oil pressure if its lacking the vtaaak wont work
