Good luck at this time of year ....

They'll start popping up in April, but than again, PY is pretty rare around here.

Wait it out a bit and hopefully the dollar will go up, than hop across the border. Way more selection down there

Cool - I figured that much.. can't wait to get back into another R and build it for the track.

This past year I have owned substitutes such as the E46 M3, STI and just can't stand them...esp the BMW. nothing compared to the fun I had in my good ol' Acura.

I'll pass on Quebec cars Thanks for the heads up though. I did see that on Kijiji. I don't want a CW either, has to be a Phoenix yellow! that colour is pure sex... im seriously having some symptons like drug withdrawl when I think of a built B18C5 revving to 9k and vtec screaming blowing by NSX'S on the racetrack

I'll be following your lead soon as well. Sold my R, bought an 06 STI, sold the STI, now I want another R. For now I'm just happy it's winter, I've got the beater on the road that costs me nothing, and I have no car payment.

Now that I've experienced it first hand, overall: R > STI x467328963

The only choice now is whether to buy something pristine, or build up a shell .... hmmmmm.

Best of luck to you.

+1
Driven STI's and really disapointed with them. Got rid of my R almost 2 years ago, and wanted one back ever since. Im currently looking for a shell to build, and make into a track car...miss that damn car.

Don't get me wrong - the STi was a blast to drive.. very torquey and powerful - it was bone stock, I'm sure if I livened it up a bit it would be more fun?

The E46 M3 was a total disappointment. It was as raw and fun as a base cobalt to drive and accelerated like a buick with bumble bees behind it.. only thing I liked about it the image, and it made my friends jealous and the girls wanted to have sex with me more often .. !!!!

Lookn forward to another R! cheap, econcomical, drive the **** out have fun without worrying about breaking things.

I agree, the STI was fun (mine was bone stock as well), but I swear the thing was put together by Ewoks. It was the first time i've ever owned a performance vehicle that didn't have roots in F1, and if tarmac is the venue, the last time. The thing was fast, but behaved like a pickup truck. No road manners whatsoever, and a chassis set to terminal understeer. Not to mention the excessive noise from the drivetrain that drove me batty. Oh well, it's gone now.

The rest of the post I agree with, although with the STI, I think more dudes wanted to have sex ... with my car =P

Canadian R's only came in white right? So you would have to get one that came from the states right? unless you wanted a RHD.

They came in only White (97-01) and Yellow (00-01) in Canada. We also got the cool red OEM front and rear seats on some models.

^^

Was thinking the same thing... its perfectly what im looking for.

Dunno, I might just buy a NSX this spring.. the ITR's big brother. I haven't driven one, I imagine it should be a better car , but focused on the same priorities?

Comments?
