Default 03K20A3Si's Official Build Thread

Well, been on here for some time and it's starting to get serious...

Been into the car show scene for years and now I want to step it up in the performance area. I started off with a 2003 Honda Civic Si that was lowered and had wheels/tires at the low odometer reading 900 miles. Over the years I've added stuff every winter, but it has gotten bad...

Mod list includes...

K20A2 Swap including:
-Jet-Hot Coated Intake Manifold
-CTR Valve cover with silver coil-pack cover and JDM dipstick
-Hondata Intake Manifold Gasket
-Blueprint dual valve springs and titanium retainers
-MUGEN head gasket
-DC sports race header
-Apexi World Sport 2 Catback Exhaust
-Ingalls Engine Torque Damper
-AEM RSX-S(3") Cold Air Intake
-P2R K20 intake plenum extension
-Supertech block gaurd insert
-Custom Engine Ground Kit
-Energy Suspension motor mount inserts
-Bypassed throttle body coolant lines
-SVR Performance Battery

Transmission:
-6 speed from 2002 RSX-S
-Stage 4 competition clutch and flywheel
-Corsport Aluminum Shifter Base and Cable Bushings
-Buddy Club Short Shifter[/COLOR][/B]

Suspension:
-Tein Super Street Coil-overs With Pillow Ball Mounts
-Cusco Front Strut Tower Bar
-Progress front sway bar
-Progress 24mm Rear Sway and Tie Bar
-Corsport front and rear adjustabe sway bar end links
-SPC Rear Aluminum Lower Control Arms
-SPC Rear Camber Kit

Interior:
-Pioneer In-Dash 7" Monitor w/ DVD
-JL Audio Component Set
-JL Audio 10w7
-Custom Fiberglass Sub Enclosure and Amp Rack
-JL Audio 500/1 and 300/4 Amps
-7" Rear Monitor
-Aluma Pro 15 Fared Capacitor
-Batt Cap
-Custom Painted Blue Center Counsel
-CTR 6spd Aluminum Shift ****
-CTR Shift Boot

Exterior:
-JDM Replica Front Lip
-JDM Sideskirts
-Shaved Bumper Lights
-JDM CTR Honda Badges
-JDM CTR Amber Side Markers
-Replica CTR Rear Wing
-04-05 USDM Headlight Conversion
-8000k HID Headlights And Fog Lights
-OEM Fog Lights
-17" Konig Helium Wheels
-215/45/17 Nitto Neo Gen Tires
-Rear Wiper Delete

Stripped and ready for parts...

Supertech block guard installed

Installing the Blueprint valve springs and retainers

A3 out, ready for a real motor...

Empty...with mounts installed

K20A2 assembled and ready for trans and wiring harness

Ready for install!

In and running(Note the sad A3 in the corner lol)

Finally!

Almost ready...

And new for this winter project...PEAKBOOST GT3076!

I'll update with the build as it goes...

wow...nice...I like your current set up for N/A...how are the vibrations since you have both the Innovative billet motor mounts with the Ingalls Engine Torque Damper?

Innovative mounts are gone, but when I had both...it was pretty bad. Now I'm switching to Avid 75A Rode in my friends DC% that has them with the torque dampner and they're perfect! More mods that will be installed with the turbo setup!

He switched mounts because of me!

I'm so jealous you got this kit. If I didn't have to buy that k24a2 I so would have picked that kit up from jared. Lucky bastard! But I can't wait to go out to the track with you again this summer!

oh i see...so the vibration is okay then for the AVID MM's and Ingalls ETD? The reason why I asked is because I have a spoon ETD and I'm just finding the right time to get the avid motor mounts (street) installed and was just wondering about the vibration...
