Default ecu for d16z6

is the p28 the right ecu for the d16z6 i have it on but the fuel pump wont come on.

check your fuel pump relay, got a used one from the junkyard and it works now, and correct ecu

Yes, the correct ECU for the D16Z6 is the P28.

As for your fuel pump, check A) Fuel pump relay, B) Fuel pump wires, C) Fuel pump.

Do you have power at the fuel pump?

If yes, and it's 12v DC - then you have a bad pump or a bad pump ground.

If no, move up front, check to make sure there's power coming out of the fuel pump relay, if yes, then it's a bad wire somewhere to the back, if no, check to make sure there's power going into the relay, if yes, it's a bad pump relay, if no, then check the wire going from the ECU to the fuel pump relay. If there's power coming out of the correct pinout on the ECU for the fuel pump relay, you missed something, or you have a bad ground somewhere.

Hope that general work-up helps you a bit.

also check ur fuel pump FUSE under the dash...i had one blown on me while on the freeway!...good thing i had an extra fuse in my car....

ok where is the relay at and the check engine light doesnt come when i turn the car on. so i think there is no power going to it.

Is there any power going to your car? Can you listen to the radio while the ignition is set to "on?"

i got it it was the ground to the battery wire.
