Default Hobart Handeler?

I'm looking to buy a mig welder and fount a hobart handeler 125 for $300 is this a good welder?

They run really nice.. Not a lot of power, but thats a pretty good deal. Don't expect to weld anything thicker than 1/8"

I bought a used 220v 170 amp Lincoln for that price a couple of months ago.

I am by no means a fabricator... but my brother, father and I found a Hobart Handler about 4yrs ago for $400 with cart, argon bottle, extra spools... tons of stuff. It was one of the best tools we have bought.

As stated it's not a super powerful welder but if you're always working on cars or other metal projects and need something affordable this welder would be perfect. Chances are you're not going to need to do anything super beefy (like thicker than 1/8"). I know that's our situation. But if you're building braces, exhausts, gussets, even a basic roll cage... Having a welder has opened up SO many possibilities for us! So far I have zero complaints about the welder. But I'm sure a pro would need something much better.
