Steering wheel noise
Your CV joint/axle is possibly damaged. Replacement costs about $60 to $70 for the part, or $150 for the part & labor. It is a DIY project if you'd so like.
Check your axles next time you're at the car, see if the boot is torn. If so, the lubricant within has been lost long ago, and you are very likely plagued with debris within the CV joint. It is easier, in most cases, to replace the entire axle assembly (for the particular side) than to just replace the damaged section.
Report back after you've looked under the car please. Also, hourly bump? >_>
