Default Can you raise the compression on a Auto h22a4

My question is, is it safe to raise the compression on a 98 prelude with sportship (automanual) transmission. I have heard that it messes with the gear ration and will eventually damage the tranny and it needs to be tunned up. therefore not worth it.

compression has nothing to do with your sportSHIFT transmission ratios. The transmission sucks anyways, so by increasing power you will just be shortening the life of the tranny. And if you are thinking about raising compression, you WILL have to tune in order to get the most out of it.
