cr-vtec no power.

Me and my friends finished assembling his crvtec and put it in his crx. He's using a stock JDM b20b block and a first gen b16 head. pw0 ecu, s1 tranny. stock clutch. after we got it together we test drove it, and it seems to run good but is definitley lacking in the power area, so we took off the valve cover, checked the cams to make sure everything was lined up and the timing was good. second we checked the ignition timing with our timing light, and noticed that it was running at idle (~1000rpm) on the red mark. which i think is approx 15 advance. so we disconnected the map sensor on a hunch, and it threw a check engine light, but the timing also settled down to the white mark. so thinking that we had a faulty map sensor, we took the map sensor off a 88 crx si, that has a b16a swap in it, and used that one. still no dice, no power. it felt like a 140hp car. so at that point, we pretty much gave up and drove it home. on the way home we noticed that it used about half a tank of gas on a pretty short drive. (~20 minute drive) which is pretty unsual considering we are working on "economy cars". if anyone has any ideas it would be greatly appreciated.

Not much help but i have basically the same set-up u are talking about and before i even tuned on street tires i ran 14.99.
Are u still running the same injectors from the head? If so u need to get a lot more fuel into there. Check your air/fuel ratio. Seems that something is definetely wrong if u are burning 6 gallons in 20 minutes.
I am using 330Rc injectors and on hindsight should have gone bigger.
