Default hard edges and final coat

I have a few spots on hard edges/contours that are down to bare metal after my final primer sand. They are like 1/16th wide and around a foot long mostly along the outside of the rain gutters on my civic.... should I respray these and make sure everything is covered or should this be ok to spray base over? I don't want to half ***, I'm just sick of being postponed by stupid little stuff!!! Oh, and sanding.

You need to eather spray primer on it and sand it smooth without going through or use a sealer coat before you put base down. If you put base down over that it has the possibility of rusting or showing through in your paint.
