Default Track Day Gymkana

Decided to bring a camera to the track with me.

Figured there would be a few fans of this thing. CTR done right.

rotor type distributors are best used as cam seals, as seen above.

must haves for track days with a honda include but arent limited to, large brimmed sugar-cane harvesting hat, volks (his track wheels were just bronze ones), small seat only a japanese *** wont break (trust me), bottle of Pocari Sweat, and some axles. couple minutes after i chuckled at him for bringing those, he broke one. LOL

EGshix.

I heard it has a "type R motor"

EK4 people, notice how Nihonjin try to un-ek4 their ek4s.

this guy was drifting the entire gymkana course

behold the tire shredding power of the mighty hachi

fastest car on the track

S15 without the turbo

getting that toe/camber

these are really cool cars if youve never checked one out

this was the first car i got on GT5 Prologue

heres one that nobody can ever identify.

bull fighting. no, not with a mexican in spandex with a red table cloth. i mean, bull-on-bull action.

the money shot...my girlfriend in my R33 flipping thru a festish lingerie catalog. gee what a horrible wretched place japan is. terrible.

its on the garnishing. people just dont know what youre talking about when you say "markII" or "chaser" or "tourer V". these are th cars that started the whole "AT dorift" movement. locking the transmission into '1-2' and putting an aftermarket torque converter in it. its pretty funny.

its because the FF guys race autocross with their e-brakes very heavily. notice most of the FF cars just swap out the rears. the ctr was even getting some good countersteer.

they dont set up the tracks the same. its more like 6-7 cone obstacles, spaced out individually and they run from one to the other, negotiating them in order. like a figure 8, a slalom, a small box and a single cone they do a quick donut around.

this place is a win-win. when the track is closed, you can watch bulls kill each other. they are special bulls too that make rodeo bulls look like bambi.

i have video. today (sunday) is drift day, so im going back to run.

the wheel size choices are interesting in terms of staggering, i see the logic behind it too but its still pretty awkward

its just for e-braking a lot and getting a little understeer. 17 in rims are also a half in to an inch wider than the 16s, the tires were 20mm wider so it just makes the car more understeer prone which is good when you have to make a quick figure 8, since 3-point turns totally kill your time.
