Default to bolt or not to bolt.......raidator core support.

whats up,
I picked up this 1993 DA for a steal price, It has some minor cosmetic damage, hood, fender, bumper, and the raidator core support.
I have everything ready to replace, but i would like to know if its a good idea to bolt the radiator core support, instead of re spot weld it? i have read people have bolted them. It would make a motor swap alot easier if i could remove the core support to pull the engine.
well let me hear what you think would be better, to bolt it, or get it re-welded.

peace

Weld it on. Bolting it on will not be the same structurally as a bunch of welds will be. You will end up spending more time trying to line up bolt holes and drill them, then just welding it on anyways.

I had the core support on my coupe bolted on for years. No problems what so ever. Everything lined up perfect. Just make sure you use lock washers or some sort and you should be fine.

This car need to be inspected after the repairs ?

if yes , you can't just bolt it .. the inspection ask that the car become like before the wreak so ..

weld it , probably more simple , and more safe !

I just did this to my girlfriends car, and welded it back together.
It is not real hard.
Feel free to ask if you need help.
