If i open up the vss will it damage? Also can i grind down the magnets in the vss to clean them up?

 

Why not just buy a new one? I'm sure someone here has one laying around. I'd make a WTB thread in the marketplace.

 

Well i cant buy a new one right now money is tight i just losy my job and stuff so i heard that on the acoord one u could grind them down wit a 400-600 grain sand paper so that why im asking

 

i just took out the vss and i turned on my car an im still having the same prob wit the odometer can anyone tell me wat up with that

 

what is the problem that you are having that is causing you to want to take apart your VSS. I'm confused. How can we tell you 'wat up with that' if we don't know what that is?

When my VSS went bad, I bought one used on ebay for about $10. My VSS plug was also bad. I cut a 3 pin plug off an accord at the junkyard for $1 and spliced it in.

Junkyard/ebay will be your best bet probably.
