I found the service article that talks about drilling out the ports to clean the EGR passageways for the engine stutter between 1500-1900 RPM's.

Does anyone know of an easier way or a work around that doesn't require me to take the chance of messing up my intake?

Most F22Bx's after '92 don't make it easy, what with the ERG manifold being where it is. It isn't all that bad tho, requiring the fuel rail and injectors to take a powder (of sorts) to gain access.

Look in here. Just in case, disconnect your O2 Sensor and see if the problem goes away.

 

Ya I have this printed out and I showed it to the guy who does work on my car when I don't want to.

They said they do it for $110 but I hate paying people to do something if I can do it.

I wish mine just had the plugs, I guess for a year or two they didn't put the removable plugs. Mine also happens to be the year where you have to rip the entire front suspension apart to replace the rotors.

wow do they all have the same problem? god i had a 91 exr with the exact same problem.. used a tooth brush to clean out the passages

 

So in your case you took the entire intake off?
