questions with b18c5 block

Default questions with b18c5 block

Thanks for reading..... I had a 1994 integra ls/vtec , spun a bearing and basicly rip my motor into pieces. currently i have a b18c5 block,crank,rods with p30 pistons . but i dont have access or money to get the head, is my b18c1 head any good with this block??? is there any wiring needed ?? please HELP!!!!

it will work. no extra wiring.

a B18C1 head will be fine with that block. it will yield pretty high compression, but it's got bigger ports and a smaller combustion chamber than a B18C5 head, so as long as all of your clearances are good, you should be golden. make sure you have a nice set of cams and valvetrain, but again, make sure that in vtec, those cams dont make those valves hit them thar pistons

ok thanks. so... is there any site where i can get b18c5 torque specs? including all bottom end and clearence , p30 rings gapping? any tips this is my first all motor project thanks for any help
