A horn/HEADlight issue.
Tonight as I was driving home in the rain, my horn suddenly went off and would not stop. I pulled over to determine what the problem might be. After a few minutes of trying various things (including turning the engine off) that failed to stop the horn, I flipped off the headlights--the horn stopped. The horn does not go off with the parking brakes (only the headlights and the high beams seem connected). From past issues with a previous Honda I assumed this was an electrical problem and might related to the brakelight/horn fuse. However, the fuse looked fine. I replaced it anyway. When I turned on the headlights, the horn sounded. When I took out the fuse and LEFT IT OUT, the horn sounded when the lights were flipped on.
Any ideas?
If not, does anyone know how to disengage the horn (obviously, pulling the fuse won't work in this case)?
