alright well i have had a horrible idle problem and took off my TB and was messing with it and put it back on. now i have a really bad surging idle. i have tried everything. I MEAN EVERYTHING!

i was messing with it yet again when the car was surging up and down and i unplugged the connector that goes on the tps and it stopped surging.

could this be my tps?

thing is, is actually broke my tps when i did my swap so the one i have on there is "used" but i have been using it for 2 months with no problem.

anything else it could be? is there a way to tell if the tps is broken? i didnt have any cels until i unplugged the plug on the tps.

 

blah this is the third question ive posted here in a month and havent got any answers for any of them .

what i really need to know is, since i unplug the tps and it doesn't surge anymore does that mean its bad?

Check your TPS voltage with a multimeter, only way to give you an offical yes or no awnser.

 

yea, the multimeter is the way to go, should be .4 open, and .5 closed. if it still is bad, jsut replace it, blox, blitz and omni tps go from $40-$70
