Default OMG whats wrong!!???

hey..well me and my friend just came back from racing..and there was no problems...we had put my friends stock 95 civic hubs on my car since we were gonna race alot...3 hours later we came back home..and it started to rain..no problems yet.....and we did a burn out in the rain we got thur 5th gear in the rain..and we parked...after like 5mins later..of just sittin and talkin in my car....we decided to leave...PROBLEM! so i put it into 1st gear..and started to go..when i left off the clutch..it like was releasing SLOWLY..so i was revving a lil bit..so i was like WTF? and when i tried to shift to 2nd it wouldn't let me..it felt like it locked 2nd gear to where i couldn't shift into it..so i could only go 1st to N....but when i turn off my car..i can shift all i want..to any gears.....but when the car is running..i can only shift to one gear and when i let go of the clutch i am not able to shift into the next gear..GUYS!! what is the problem?!??!??!.

Wish I could help, maybe someone else can tell you exactly what you broke. Seriously man, you abuse the hell out of it and you are still shocked that there is a problem? Not trying to flame you, so dont get pissed, just think about what you're doing next time.

dont beat the **** out of your car for 3 hours and expect it to be ok

your clutch is fried.

You've destroyed your clutch. Did you see smoke, possibly from clutch not tires? I've seen clutches cleaned to the metal on one side from abuse. The material gets stuck between the fingers on the pressure plate causing a strange pedal feel. The car is drivable, its just difficult.

Anyway, you need a clutch.

yeah man, sounds like you got it really freakin hot. causing it to slip a lot before grabbing, instead of just grabbing instantly. you should be able to drive it again, but seriously do not race or burn out before looking at new clutches.

When you do get a new clutch. Learn launching and rev matching. This way you're not burning your clutch all the time. THe longer you engage your clutch the more you wear.
