Default Big Brake Kits

Which kit is the best? I have a 5th gen accord and am looking for a Big Brake kit and rotors for the back. Still deciding on my wheels, but I heard something about AEM warping, and blah blah but I dont know. How are brembos? Also, should I get blanks in the back or drilled/slotted?

Thanks

i think most of the guys in here like the "GhettoBigBrake Industries V6 accord rotors and legend Calipers", myself included. Cost effective and they work.

find them here: https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=241996

search for legend calipers. or you can use accord wagon/V6 rotors w/ the wagon/ITR calipers.

I haven't had any problems with my AEM Big Brake Kit and they stay crispy in milk.
I would say if the legend caliper/V6 rotors are cheaper,go that route.

For those of you with the legend/wagon conversion do you have to use the Brembo rotors like the conversion page above used or can you just use the stockers? I have access to all stock parts rotors and calipers and if they can be used I will just use them and save the $$ for the Brembo's for later. Any help will be appreciated. Also any concerns on cars without abs with this conversion? I am wondering if you need to upgrade the master cylinder or anything like that for the peddle feel to be the same......

you need larger rotors than the stock 4-cylinder accord rotors. Brembo blanks for the wagon are dirt cheap at nopi, $20-30 per rotor only.

What I meant by stockers was the stock V6 4 lug 114.5 mm lug pattern rotors.... I can get those for free....

I got lucky today and went out to my old employeer's yard and they had just gotten in a 94 Legend with the calipers I need !!!! They haven't torn it down yet so I will get everything. I will get the calipers, uncut lines, pad, and the brackets etc. Can't beat that for timing. I will let everyone know my thoughts on this when I get it done..... Also got some 97 Accord V6 rotors.....

I hate the fact that you live so close to a decent salvage yard.

Not only do I live about 5 minutes from Import Auto Salvage I worked there for over a year. Man the perks and hook ups I got there. I sure do miss it there. Larry and those guys are like family to me. Heck they have known me since I was like 3 years old. I am 23 now. They still hook me up when I go out there. Anyhow I will let you all know how the Legend lines work out. I told them to save everything off the calipers and spindles for me. I know they will 2!!!!!!
