re-sleeve your block, bigger pistons, and ask him to bore it to 85mm

why not just get a b20 block and sleeve that? a b20 block is a bored out b18. it'll be cheaper to just sleeve a b20 than to bore and sleeve a b18.

The price will be the same regardless, the sleeving process is removing the stock sleeves and installing the aftermarket sleeves. The sleeves are them bored to whatever bore is desired and then the final hone is performed to achieve the correct piston to wall clearance for your specific piston and build characteristics, i.e. naturally aspirated and forced induction motors will generally have different clearances.

what's your plan for the engine? if you just bore the block out without doing anything else you're going to end up spending a lot of $ for a small increase in power.

well as far as you can see im open to suggestions...heres the breakdown of my breakdown..hahahaha...
its got 224k on it, the valve cover gasket leaks, the timing belt tensioner is shot, hence the timing is off but the a/c blows cold...i pound the crap out of it and daily drive it about 60 miles a day. most will say swap it [ which i can do and have done on other projects ] but i rather rebuild it...i wanted to replace all the internals.[block and head]. FLAME AWAY!

i had a egsr hatch back in the day and to be honest VTEC dont really impress me...the way i see it if i bore the block and build the head it should be just as good as VTEC. than im ready for turbo or nos.

Looks to me like you need a DART block. Or maybe the complete DART engine for that matter.

i used to build lowriders back in the day so i know a dart motor would tear the mounts to pieces...

well the top guy here runs a EK hatch K20T. built block built head the works. carbon fiber front and rear bumper full gutted interior... fast very fast..except he got a 6 speed trans instead of 5 speed so he not done yet.
i aint trying for beat him...wait i am..hes the man to beat...so i want to do it with b series so i can call it a K Killer... hook me up with a good LS[B18B1] setup and i will do my best to build it...i want it N/A as much as possible....i dont like the problems that come along with F/I. tuning, traction, waiting for boost. i want to down it and take off like my GSR did...it would plant me in my chair until i let off the throttle...no pause between shifts and stuff like that...
