The highest ive seen is 181 but im not sure on the compression. My goal is to hit 190 w/ high comp., R cams and tuning.

what head was your friend using?

 

190whp 2.0 11.2 c/r
200+ is possible with a 1.8
210+ with a 2.0

 

stock gsr head with intake inner springs moved to the exhaust side and new inner springs on intake side

I've seen a car hit 201whp on a 1.8 with itr cams. So it's possible.

 

00-01 ITR cams = same chit

 

What compression was this motor? With JDM ITR pistons and a Mugen headgasket, he should be atleast 12.1:1 CR.

 

bump, because that is what i will be doing, but only diff is getting the head breath better

 

in a built b20, 217hp/ 148 lb-ft tq.

in a stock ITR (2001), 184/129
