Key sign on dashboard

The "key sign" on my 01 civic ex dashboard is blinking...what is it mean?

Buy an Owner's Manual. They're not expensive.

As illustrated with the fantastic photos of Honda literature, the green key indicator light is for the immobilizer system. If you are having no problems starting the car, then ignore it.

It happened when im going to work...and my house to my work is like 30 mins drive. I was driving that thing is blinking the whole time.

get your battery checked...

even though the engine starts, the battery voltage is probably sagging too much when you crank the engine...the gauge cluster freaks out if the voltage gets to low
