How would I go about checking to see if my car a 97 Civic LX had keyless entry from the factory? My Civic has all the options an EX from 97 would. I have pw/pl/cruise, OEM 6 disc changer and an OEM tape player.

Thanksgiving day I replaced the stock radio with another stock radio, however the green plug wouldn't plug in, so we left it unplugged. I later realized by doing so that my dome light stopped working when I opened the door. This is what has led me to believe I have keyless entry, possibly.

I called Honda, they said they can not run the vin to determine if it has it or not. I would have to bring them the car and a tech would have to look at it to tell me if it has keyless.

So is there a specific place to look that would tell me if I had it or not?
