I tried to lock the cams(civic type R) by forcing air into the vtec solenoid at the front pressure checking port. It did not seem to work, or perhaps I was not using enough pressure. Where do I need to pressurize the spool valve to lock the cams in vtec mode?
Also is the centerline of the vtec lobe different than the centerline of the primary lobe. I cannot find specs for the primary lobe centerlines either In or Ex. for the civic type R head.
