I'd like to block off the lower grille opening for winter...
Does anyone make anything for a '08 Civic sedan to do this?
I expect to be driving through a foot of snow at some point this year
and it looks like the front end will ingest a lot of snow possibly mixed with a some random ice clumps
if I leave the lower grille opening unblocked.
It doesn't have to be a solid panel or blanket.
Bug-screen-like material would do too.
I just don't want to risk damaging the radiator while driving through snow
when the snow is close to the bottom of the front licence plate.
*In case some southerners think this is nuts, people up here (and are often expected to)
drive all kinds of cars and trucks through up to a foot of snow...
(except perhaps lowered cars)
** I might also be interested in a full screen to go behind all the grille openings,
to protect from bugs and stones year-round.

you could use some cloroplast, the stuff they use for election signs. Home imporvement stores have signs or go to a sign making company they have lots of it and not that expnsive.
Cut to fit then zip tie it or something close to that to the grille in the bumper

Yep, zip ties are gonna be your friend here. You could pull off the bumper to make things easier to get to, and then just cut it to fit and put some holes for zip ties. Just keep in mind that it's going to have quite a bit of wind resistance, so make sure it's attached firmly! Keeping it from touching the radiator is important also, for the obvious reasons.
