Default Balance Shaft and Front main seal

Ok well I installed them however, they arent 100% straight. One side is flush if not slightly slightly in and the other side is in a slight bit more. Basically my question is, do they have to be DEAD straight ? I know to a certain extent it will leak however i dont want to worry over something very small.

If you're doing the job, do it right, get them set flush, and not cocked in the hole.

You can use a flat round punch and tap on the area (near the outer edge of the seal of course) that is sticking outward the most, you may want to use a large socket to push it in but sometimes that is a bit difficult to make straight.

yea i was using a socket and its not in there perfect. A punch is a good idea, what about the areas that are in alittle bit further than flush, i was hesitant to pull then out with the pick set, scared that i would damage the seal.
