everything bolts on perfectly..just cut a lil bit of the plastic on the front bumper but through the inse of the bumper so that it can push in all the way to place the black clips on it and then your good 2 go.....

Either cut the new bumper or hammer in the core support or replace the core support.

Then bolt everything on.

Other exterior differences for '96-'98 versus '99-'00:
- Rear bumpers are different on coupes and sedans.
- Taillights different colors on coupes and hatches.
- Trunk different on sedan.
- Taillights different on sedan.
- Antenna in rear window for most '99-'00 sedans.

I believe you are going to have a problem with the head lights because of the 98 support i have a 00 si and tried putting on 98 after market head lights and they didn't fit

LOL

The part you hammer (or cut) on the core support is the tiny tabs that poke out from the front, towards the inside of the headlights.

Replacing the core support is ideal imo. If I *HAD* to do the conversion instead of buying a '99-'00, I'd replace it all. In fact, I would probably go through the front end body parts and check everything that has a different part number, and then order the appropriate parts. I have heard there are a few smaller parts which can also be replaced in order to make fitment perfect.

The headlights won't match up to the bumper, hood or fenders either.
