Hey everybody, I have a question I was thinking of buying some interior lights and would like them to turn on when I disable the car alarm and turn off when I start the car as the dome light does. Does any1 knows how to do this?

Heres what im thinking of...

 

Find out where the dome light wire is in your wire harness and there is your power source. Have you thought this through, like all the people that are gonna laugh at you and make fun of you?

There is a wire that controlls when your domelight come on. There is probably going to be 2 of them, one for a ground and one for power. Use a voltmeter and find the one that produces power when the domelight is on. The wire from the domelight that has the power going to it is the same wire you are going to splice into and run it to the power wire on your lights.

A lot of people dont approve of tasteless mods like these because most of the time they look tacky and are never done right. I would personally point and laugh if I saw some guy in his integra disarm his car and a bunch of blue lights light up in the interior. It just seems so pointless and makes it look like you are trying way to hard to stick out.
