Default Right price for 97 civic?

http://hudsonvalley.craigslist.org/cto/944031866.html
lookin at a new car since my 93 hatchback's engine blew, thiers just too many additional problems with it including radiator problems and i lack a horn haha. But i was lookin at this car and wondering if thats a good price for it. Seems in amazing condition for the miles on it. Any opinions? and also might do a manual swap with this thing, good idea or bad idea?

it will def. last you a while its a honda!! as long as you dont do to much to the engine to try making it to be what its not, so just get stock sides and bumpers back
and then put on some jdm stuff.
then you;ll be set

x2, i would change back to stock tailights too, those things are ridiculous, and change back to stock body kit, thats my opinion, but its definetly worth the buy. just make sure before you but it, if you do buy it check it out in person first and see if there are any leaks.

yeah i made a meeting with the girl whos selling it tomorrow, i'll take pics of it with my gf's camera and post them. But the body stuff was done by the original owner and idk if these people will have those parts, i'll have to see it in person tho. So is it worth the buy? and should i junk my 93 honda civic hatchback(blown engine) or try selling the shell for money?

dont buy it.
Automatic.
Keep looking and you will find something better.
I looked over 3 months until i found my 97 civic hatch for $950. Car only had a bad tranny. Did the work myself and saved alot of money.
Good luck

eww

"buy my car it's got an ugly mismatched body kit and v-tech" (spelled wrong on purpose)

I wouldn't buy an auto, but I would especially not buy an auto with 200k. Honda automatic transmissions are junk, stay away from them.

Get it checked before you buy it, or check it yourself. Bodykit is nasty plus those taillights. But not a bad price I guess, make her go lower. lol.

dont do it, honda auto trannies don't last very long, and 200,000 is plenty of miles for a honda. Besides, its all riced out so I doubt they took very good care of it

i check out the car today and it rides like a dream. Its feels like a brand new car! the inside is immaculate and the outside looks amazing compared to the miles on it. The breaks were done 7 months ago, timing belt when they bought it 18 months ago, tranny done right before the car was sold to them. The car has not been used regularly for the last 3 weeks since the daughter moved away. The sister showed me the car and said they drove it once or twice a week to keep it running nicely and she is goin back to florida in 2 weeks and wants to get rid of the car. She said she'd cut more money off the price of the car cause she wants to get rid of it and to call her tomorrow if i wanted it. heres some pictures of the car!
ps.-well the hatchback has more problems i'd have to fix and i dont have the money, i have to borrow money from my grandmother in order to get this car hopefully. i need somethin that runs for now until i can get the money to fix more on this car.

Engine

front of car

rims

inside(so freaking nice)

lol but anyway she gave me a txt and told me she'd wait out till the end of the week for my decision on the car and held off the other potential buyers for me which is freakin awesome. How long do ya think the engine will last till i would have to do a swap?

The engine doesn't really scare me, i'd be far more worried about the transmission.
